The Waterboys are a one-man team of Mike Scott. They’ve had mild amounts of success and I’m not sure why its so limited. Fisherman’s Blues Part Two is the sequel the magnificent Fisherman’s Blues.
One my way:
“On My Way To Heaven” – Full of rag tag blue grass. Wonderful.
“Too Close To Heaven” and “Good Man Gone” – Lovely.
“Custer’s Blues” – Again Scott gives us something that could put a tear in your eye.
“Lost And Lonesome”
Stand still:
“Higher In Time” and “The Ladder” – Not quite Pink Floyd.
“A Home In The Meadow” – You’ve heard this before, still it’s touching.
The Waterboys again produce a record that is better than most albums that come out on majors. Fisherman’s Blues Part Two isn’t as good as the original, but its still a good supplement.
