Sugarcult return to Anaheim, CA for their annual Christmas show at the House of Blues on Thursday, December 17th.
Sugarcult headline with support from Call the Cops (winner’s of Myspace’s “Rock the Space” competition, beating out 18,000 other bands), Prima Donna (recently completed month-long tour with Green Day in Europe) and Venus Infers (winners of three 2009 OC Music Awards, picking up the victory as – best indie, best alternative and best album).
Fans are encouraged to bring an unwrapped toy to the Toys For Tots booth at the show. The toys will be given to children in need for the holidays.
From Warped Tours to World Tours, Sugarcult has toured relentlessly for the past 7 years, building a dedicated domestic and international following. Sugarcult has performed as the opening act on Green Day’s American Idiot tour (in US and Japan), appeared on the mainstage of Warped Tour ’01 ’02 & ’04, on the main stages of legendary UK festivals Reading, Leeds, and Glastonbury; at Japan’s Summer Sonic Festival; as well as headlined the Take Action Tour, Virgin College Mega Tour and their own successful club and theatre headline tours. Sugarcult has released three albums – Start Static, Palm Trees and Power Lines, and Lights Out – selling over a cumulative one million albums worldwide.
