Recently signed to Fearless Records (The Maine, Mayday Parade), Sparks The Rescue is set to release their debut, full length album “Eyes To The Sun” on May 5, 2009. This album will be sold in stores nationwide and digitally on iTunes.

“Eyes to the Sun” is produced by Jonathan Wyman and mixed by Mark Needham (The Killers, Metro Station, Mayday Parade) It will feature remixed tracks in addition to three never before heard songs. Fans that buy the full album on iTunes will also receive five exclusive bonus tracks including an acoustic version of “Autumn” and the music video.

“Recording was an uplifting and exciting experience” says bassist Ben Briggs. “We write about our everyday lives. We want the fans to relate to it and feel like they’re a part of our music, because they are.”

Sparks The Rescue has quickly gained momentum since the release of their debut EP in 2007. Their first single, “Autumn,” has already generated over 30 plays a week on WYCC, Maine’s number one alternative rock radio station. Since forming, the band has played over 200 shows with artists like Chiodos, Hawthorne Heights, Forever The Sickest Kids, and All Time Low. They also have a rapidly growing online fan base, with almost 40,000 friends and 1.5 million plays on Myspace alone.

You can also hear your favorite tracks live as the band hits cities nationwide with The Dangerous Summer and Racing Kites. This spring tour will include stops at SXSW and The Bamboozle. Be sure to catch Sparks The Rescue in a city near you!
