Cappadonna must like company because all but one of his ten tracks on The Yin And The Yang feature a guest artist, and right from the start you know that Rza burned the vinyl digging up beats for this release. The combination of new school ripping with old school bumpers makes for a very decent, if not watered down, time.
Ghostface Killah eats it live on “Super Model”. The missing in action Killah Priest teams with Cappadonna and Neonek giving away “Bread Of Life”, a tribute to the loss of man and our ever-loving devotion to our god. “Love Is The Message” featuring Raekwon carries a beat so light that you might just forget this is a Wu spot. Cappadonna doesn’t disappoint. Just because you only get ten tracks doesn’t mean he’s cutting you short. He’s just giving you bang for your buck, but I have the feeling Wu-Tang loyalists will find this a little too commercial and not quite up to par.
