Candy Butchers start off hokey with “Worry My Dome” but make up for it in spades with the off-center “My Monkey Made A Man Out Of Me”.
Candy Butchers are out of the ordinary and don’t try their best to be cool. It’s interesting and it certainly allows them to stick out in a field where everyone is trying so damn hard to be the same as everyone else. “It’s A Line” proves this point perfectly.
“Baby, It’s A Long Way Down” is a soulful journey that never quite escapes the oddity that the Candy Butchers are. It’s great to know you can go from that to a completely off the wall song like “Make No Mistake”. Talk about quirky.
From their name to their songs, the Candy Butchers are completely zany and yet quite deep. Play With Your Head is out there while still being quite impressive.
