The review:
There is something so enjoyable about shooting zombies. Especially when it’s done right. Just pull up your gun and aim for the head and watch the brains blow out of the back of the skull. Yipee. Now that is fun. It’s not always as much fun as it should be in House of the Dead for the Wii. The aiming is dead on, even when the game isn’t.
House of the Dead 2 is actually a lot of fun as you shoot your way through the undead. House of the Dead 3 on the other hand leaves a lot to be desired, especially when it comes to the graphics. This is the Wii but we still would like some next-generation graphic updates.
The shooting is dead on which means you have no one to blame but yourself if you find yourself as zombie food. You can use the remote to play but its a lot more exciting to have the feel of a trigger in your hand.
Finally:
This is proof that the Wii is good for more than bring kids new games–it proves that the Wii’s new way of gaming can breathe new life into games that have been long forgotten.
