Rollerball

Rollerball
Cast: Chris Klein
Studio: MGM
Rating: 2/10

This remake of the 1975 film is just another film that begs the question: what in the hell happened to Hollywood?

Chris Klein plays a hotshot star athlete who becomes the new sensation in Rollerball. Can I just ask one question? Would you even watch a real game called Rollerball? I remember a game similar to this that was worse than professional wrestling. So first we have a game no one watches, then they decide to make a movie out of it and expect this will be any different? They cast Klein in the roll of the star. Give me a break. There isn’t one point here that makes sense. How did it make sense to an exec when it was brought up?

The script is terrible, the acting is bad because of that and more, the set is obnoxious, the visuals aren’t exciting, and there is more to complain about, but why? It’s just a waste of breath.
