I’d like to go on and on about this thirty-foot crocodile that happens to live in Maine, but unfortunately the movie dragged on for what seemed forever. I was surprised to see that it had lasted only a few ticks over an hour.
Nothing good can come out of changing Spielberg’s shark in Jaws to a crocodile for Lake Placid . And I’m sure you all remember the movie Anaconda? Well, that one sucked, too. In the end, it doesn’t matter. I just can’t quite understand how in the world such well-known actors as Bill Pullman and Bridget Fonda could even think that this concept was going to be a good idea.
Add a large dose of predictability and bland characters and you end up with a movie that has no bite. Save your seven bucks and rent the whole Jaws trilogy. You’ll get more fright for half the price.
