The Film Studio Synopsis: The sequel is the story of a bunch of people meeting because of a traffic accident due to a premonition by a freshman in college. What transpires is a rush to save the life of an unborn child with the help of Clear Rivers, [played by Ali Larter, from the first movie). The story of this film and the events of the first movie unexpectedly coincide and intertwine to create many surprises and revelations about Death and its plans on Earth.
The Good: Nothing. Zip. Ziltch. Zero.
The Bad: Our leading lady A.J. Cook shows us what bad acting really means. From her squirming around when she has a ‘sign’ right down to her less than inspiring fear.
You can’t even compare this to the first film and proves sequels never live up to the original. The original was unique and bizarre, best of all it kept you guessing. This sequel goes over the top with grotesque scenes of dismemberment and gore in order to make up for a pathetic script. It’s embarrassingly bad. The biggest problem is you see it coming.
Then there are the cliches. The drugs. The lame banter. The typical movie black guy. Is it too hard to make a smart film?
Frankly: The bad news is that after you’ve seen the first five minutes or so you can leave. That is the only way you might even feel any sense of fulfillment.
