CORPORATE LINE: The name of Bow Wow’s fourth Sony album is Wanted and whether he’s letting fans know about his life, giving the ladies something, partying with the fellas or lacing you with a laid back vibe, Wanted is Bow Wow at his most focused, playful and in control. Featuring guest appearances from some of the hottest names in music–like Ciara and Snoop Dogg–Wanted truly reflects the way Bow Wow is, right now.
THE GREAT:
Nothing.
THE AVERAGE:
“Let Me Hold You” f/Omarion – Dupri puts Omarion down for the chorus which is without a doubt—hot. Bow Wow as barely an ingredient that makes this track rock.
“Fresh Azimiz” f/Jermaine Dupri and J-Kwon – Bow Wow’s rhymes are weak—he better thank J-Kwon for bringing it.
“Do You” – Jermaine Dupri lays down a hot beat too bad Bow Wow can’t bring it home.
“Big Dreams” – Another dope beat—and that is it.
“Mo Money” f/Snoop Dogg, Jermaine Dupri, Ciara, Omarion, J-Kwon, and T. Waters – Everyone shows up Bow Wow.
THE BAD:
“Like You” – Bow Wow doing a boy-band style pop song is just awful.
“Go” – “You have to pay to hear me breath” – that’s supposed to be a good line?
FRANKLY: How Bow Wow has lasted this long is beyond any reviewer. He can’t rhyme; he has no flow, and has some of the weakest rhymes you’ll hear. But what do we know?
