It was thirty years ago when the Yellow Submarine first set sail on her maiden voyage. Both the movie and soundtrack have been reissued, but it’s the soundtrack that has undergone the major reconstruction. It now contains all fifteen Beatles’ tracks featured in the movie. The original soundtrack consisted of only six Beatles’ tracks, alongside orchestrated pieces by producer George Martin.
The new and improved Yellow Submarine soundtrack is full of classics. Period. All perfect, all reissued, all just as amazing today as they were way back when.
