GAME STUDIO DESCRIPTION: Wario makes his debut on the Nintendo DS with hundreds of all-new minigames. Tap, scratch, and rub your stylus on the touch screen to play minigames that have you do everything from milking a cow and drawing a mustache to hurling stars at evil ninjas. You can even play some minigames by blowing into the DS’s built-in microphone.
PLAY: Wario Ware Touched! is based around mini-games. This version of Wario Ware does a great job of utilizing the dual-screen. The goal of Wario Ware is to put together mini-games one after another. The games increase in difficulty as you continue to string them together.
There are many different styles of games from using the touch screen and making different motions and then you have others that revive games like Zelda II, Metroid, and Hogan’s Alley.
Wario Ware Touched! is completely out there. The design is off the wall and it makes for quite an intriguing game. What’s even more bizarre is that it takes only over an hour to get through the entire game—for children it might take a little longer. It isn’t over however as there are so many unlockable items that you must find that you won’t get them all the first time through.
FRANKLY: Because players will want to beat their high scores on the levels it adds to the replay value of Wario Ware Touched! Problem is that you’ll rip through every single thing the game has to offer easily in a couple hours.
