Terror grips the land. The powerful and evil sorcerer, Silver, has abducted the women of Jarrah for his treacherous purposes. You take control as David, a simple hero on a quest to save his beloved and defeat the almighty Silver. But it won’t be easy. In order to succeed, you’ll need to recruit allies, master swordplay, learn the art of magic, and venture through hostile worlds teeming with Silver’s corrupt followers.
Look:
Silver doesnt one-up other Dreamcast games. It looks good, but Ive seen better. The characters are cool and the graphics throughout are great. I found it tough finding entrances in the backgrounds as they faded into the landscape.
Feel:
The character control is decent. I found myself doing a lot of button mashing, unless you are casting a spell or blocking one. There was a lot left that could have been added; perhaps it was just rushed.
Hear:
Silver has a pretty tight soundtrack. The sound effects are a blast too.
Finally:
You beat it once and you arent going back. If you have one solid day with nothing but coffee and a little sleep deprivation, you can finish and return it in no time.
