Game Company’s Description: Something fishy is going in Springfield and Homer, Marge and other familiar Simpson characters get behind the wheel and investigate.
Look: You get to wander around Springfield , and it is well worth the trip. It’s fun for the fan, but you have to wonder how much fun someone outside of fandom will have checking out the sites. You don’t really search the entire land of Springfield . Has anyone truly ever seen a real map of the city? Well then we shouldn’t expect to get one here either. It’s not entirely bad just looks like the show. You go from 3D characters living in a 2D world; it’s a bit to get used to. The characters look soulless it sounds stupid when talking about a cartoon. However when you watch the Simpsons on TV you feel like they are alive here it doesn’t seem the same.
The cars show damage as you smash. Mr. Plow’s truck smashed cars with abandon while the doors flapped open and the hood bounced around.

Feel: Hit & Run is a cartoon remake of Grand Theft Auto. It’s as simple as that. It’s easy enough for kids who might not be able to master the shear size or hardcore nature of GTA. This one is cleaned up and not as gruesome as GTA. Players don’t die, they don’t carry guns and you don’t get the blood splattered on your windshield. It’s goofy, just like an episode of The Simpsons would be. The police do come after you and issue fines for damage you will surely cause.
As stated before, you can cruise all over Springfield and check out areas you might not have seen in the show. You can change outfits and vehicles. The biggest bonus is just how long and how much fun you will have. It almost seems endless and for kids it really could be.

Hear: Of course the game will flourish here. This has great dialogue and music. The voiceovers are from the show and done with the true voices with all the one-liners in tack. Haha. Everything is true to the show and you couldn’t be happier. The best is Bart making fun of video games and the tutorial as he instructs us. Sharp, witty, and everything you’d expect from the Simpsons family.
Frankly: Fun for kids and adults. After the Simpsons have stumbled through so many bad titles with these characters you get to a point where you don’t really know what to expect. This was a great surprise. The Simpsons haven’t had a good track record when it comes to video games thankfully they hit the nail on the head with Hit & Run. Who would you rather drive into a tree with than Homer? Doh!
