That’s right this is your chance to defeat the best the street has to offer with all-new dunks, passes, dribbles, and special moves. Enter the most real urban worlds ever created and begin your journey to become a street legend.
Look: What a great looking game. The courts are brilliant reproductions with an authenticity unrivaled. You get cars passing by and people who just walk by or stop to just watch. The players are cartoon-ish. It can be annoying but you have to remember this isn’t meant to be an NBA sim. Jordan looks like Jordan, well if he was in Space Jam as a cartoon character.
Feel: 3-on-3 has never been this much fun. Not only do you get to play ball but you can earn a rep and money – which buys you clothes, skills, etc.
The controls are very precise. You can’t help but enjoy the add-ons like trick shots and passes. Try dribbling between your legs. What? It’s amazing. There isn’t total confusion with the buttons or controls. It’s all laid out neatly and simple enough but don’t take that the wrong way. This version is deep.
If you are smart you’ll go to Street School and learn how to play so that you don’t get played on the court. Also you have the ability to play as a team, tournament mode and more.
Hear: The music is typical of the game and depends on your tastes. The sound of the court is good, but more trash talking would have been fun.
Frankly: NBA Street 2 is an amazingly well rounded game. You ball it up and get other great extras. Honestly the game plays best when you have some friends around to beat or team up with.
