Bone Thugs-N-Harmony made their mark six years ago with the EP “Creepin On Ah Come Up”. The combination of gangsta style mixed with silky melodies brought them out of the ghetto and into the even more ruthless world of music.
The Collection: Volume Two mixes something old with some stuff you may not have heard, and stuff you might have heard elsewhere.
There are songs with other artists, like “Thug Luv”, featuring the late 2Pac rhyming between gun shots. Then there’s Da Brat (“Don’t Hate On Me”), Mo Thugs (“2 Glocks” and “Ghetto Cowboy”), Master P (“Hook It Up”), and last a bonus track, “Sleepwalkers”, with the late Eazy-E.
I have to admit I don’t quite get this record. The first greatest hits record was unnecessary after only two records, now comes another which uses only two previous releases and a few odds and ends. Quite silly, really. Just another stocking stuffer, I presume.
