Oh no, here come the winter sports again. Can Konami break the terrible Olympic game drought?
Look: Good, not great. The reflections on the ice are nice, and the blustery wind effect is pretty cool. The difference between Gamecube and PS2 versions is almost miniscule.
Feel: Figure Skating is one of two games worth playing more than once. The skating, although I’m embarrassed to admit it now, was fun picking the songs and trying to sync up my routine. Also high up their in the fun department is the Halfpipe.
The weak events are bobsledding, downhill and curling. They are just ugly and barely seem to be anything near reality.
Hear: Nothing to mention. Soundtrack is lame and the commentary is sparse, which is really a good thing.
Frankly: Rent it.
