1. Future Says Run – With an album title like Sugar, you know the songs should be sweet. And that is exactly what this track is. Rating: 6.5/10
2. You Wanted More – You may have heard this before; it was previously on the American Pie soundtrack. This is a really great track that gets better with each and every listen. Rating: 8/10
3. Knock Down Walls The first single is a catchy piece of rock. Rating: 6/10
4. Mean To Me Slow down, wait a minute. Speed up, run a little. Sounds better with each listen. Rating: 7.5/10
5. Sugar Satisfying. Rating: 5/10
6. Jump Jimmy Uppity track that finally got me back out of my seat. Rating: 7/10
7. Queen Sterile. Serene. Got my mojo rising, but didn’t leave me high. Rating: 6/10
8. Waiting For The Light Now you’re talking. This is a wonderfully crafted track. Mellow, but not so mellow that I want to throw myself out of the window. Rating: 8/10
9. Waltz With Me Pretty in the manner that it’s heard, but drags on toward the end. Rating: 7/10
10. Sunflower Turn the volume up and turn the world down. I’m glad they reawakened me with this track. Rating: 7.5/10
11. Drag Me Down Tough time holding up its end with two good tracks coming both before and after it. Rating: 5/10
12. Top Falls Down Rock ‘n’ roll. Rating: 6/10
13. Love A Diamond Slowed me down. And I don’t care for slow tracks ending an album. Rating: 6/10
Tonic crafts fine songs. Though I often found my mind wandering after a couple of slow tracks, the ones that rocked put me back in line. This album won’t get you hyped up to work out, but it will take you away when you’re suffering from the stress of the day.
