Track #
1. Anything Not a great way to start off. Rating: 4.5/10
2. Wounded Sonically strong and lyrically good. Rating: 6/10
3. 10 Days Late A familiar bassline greets you as Third Eye Blind goes with their best attempt at being Green Day. Rating: 6/10
4. Never Let You Go Also sounds quite familiar to another punk rock band, Blink 182. Can you say copycats? I knew you could. Just listen to “What’s My Age Again”, and then pop this track in. You be the judge. It’s too bad because this is a good song. Rating: 6.5/10
5. Deep Inside Of You Nice. Rating: 5/10
6. 1000 Julys These guys doing metal isn’t quite as good as it sounds. Rating: 4/10
7. An Ode To Maybe Average. Rating: 4.5/10
8. The Red Summer Sun Nice melody, but I’m more stunned by singer Stephan Jenkins’ crazy Robert Plant impersonation. Rating: 5.5/10
9. Camouflage Sounds cool, but you can’t understand what in the hell he is singing about. You become bored quickly. Rating: 4/10
10. Farther I’m all for them mixing up their sound, but it seems even when they are trying to do their best impersonations, they still sound like themselves. Here they give a good run at Lenny Kravitz, but fall short. Rating: 5/10
11. Slow Motion (instrumental) N/A Would have made a pretty song.
12. Darkness Nice slow pace, but pales compared to Third Eye Blind hits like “Jumper”, which did the same with more passion. Rating: 6/10
13. Darwin The only original track on the whole album. Give me ten of these and I’d be pleased. Rating: 7.5/10
