Have you ever been punched in the stomach? Or really felt like you have been? Well, from the first note I felt like that as the Supersuckers kicked and mauled me. I haven’t felt this beaten and dirty since I don’t know when.

There is nothing quiet about these guys. “The Evil Powers Of Rock ‘N’ Roll” blasts like a rocket and never relents. The onslaught continues into “Cool Manchu”. “Stuff ‘N’ Nonsense” is a hyperbolic love quest. At least that’s what I think it is.

The Evil Powers Of Rock ‘N’ Roll is perfectly summed up by the question posed to the group on the track “I Want The Drugs”: “Would you say that your songs are about liquor, women, drugs, and killing for the most part?” Answer: “Yes”.
