Styles – A Gangster And A Gentleman

Styles
Artist: Styles
Title: A Gangster And A Gentleman
Label: Interscope
Rating: 2/10

Styles rolls hard with the Mountain brothers as one of their members.

Stylin’:
He has no style.

Glidin’:
“Good Times” – The repeating “I get high” pounds into our head just what Styles like to do and the fact that he confuses the Hippies and the ‘70’s proves the he must be telling the truth about his favorite pastime.
“A Gangster And A Gentleman” – the year by year break down of Styles. Often as interesting as it is the opposite.

Fallin’:
“Yall Know We In Here” – A regurgitated track that Mystikal did much better.
“Black Magic” – more about getting high, this is getting tired.
“Daddy Get That Cash” and “Get Paid – Sell the dope or go straight. He promotes selling drugs, what’s the deal with this nonsense?

Styles might be street tough, but his rhymes are nothing but a shell of his rough lifestyle. If Styles is preaching the streets that’s one thing, but when he promotes violence and the selling of drugs it doesn’t do anything but make our culture grow worse not better.
