Sonic Youth have gone on to influence such artists as Nirvana. Now about twenty years later they are still working on their sound with Murray Street.

Works:
“Karent Revisited” – gets long but the parts that don’t seem to be drowning in a groove comes off great.

Keep trying:
“The Empty Page” – This really isn’t all that interesting.
“Rain On Tin” – Extremely obtuse, that’s not really all that unusual.

Fails:
“Plastic Sun” – Still trying to revive the days long gone.

If you never got Sonic Youth don’t expect to get them anytime soon.
