Sisqo took the world with singles like “Thong Song” from his debut release, Unleash The Dragon. Back with Return Of Dragon, Sisqo’s as good as ever.
The opener, “Not Afraid”, sounds much more certain, but even more mature as Sisqo sings “I’m not afraid/ no I’m not afraid of anything/ and I swear that I’m goin’ to be young forever.” “Can I Live” is a call for some privacy in the light of all the fame.
Sisqo brings Dru Hill in for the gorgeous “Without You”. An even better fit finds Sisqo walking with the boys of The Associates as they get off rhyme after rhyme on “Off The Corner”. “Close Your Eyes” is the typical ballad that never seems to quite take off.
Although Return Of Dragon doesn’t have the spunk of Unleash The Dragon, it’s still a pretty good follow-up. Sisqo has a great voice, he knows hooks, and he loves to bring a gang along. The only question is, what will the dragon bring next?
