In 1998, Public Announcement released the single “Body Bumpin’” and they haven’t come down since. Out of Chicago they come once again, now with their impressive sophomore release, Don’t Hold Back.

Swing and Public Announcement gather for the hip swinging “Don’t Hold Back”. “Long Long Summer (We Can)” is the forbearer to the first single, “Mamacita”. The ballad “Man Ain’t Supposed To Cry” quenches the love-lust.

“Rithickulous”. I’m not sure where these guys learned how to spell, but the song’s not bad. “John Doe” is a search for a mystery man. “Spilt Milk” is a creative twist on the line “crying over spilled milk.” Public Announcement has proved they’re not a one-trick pony.
