If you listen to top forty radio, it would be unbelievable if you haven’t heard the Sarina Paris track “Look At Us”. Its infectious euro-grooves and pop melodies are completely undeniable.
The one problem with Paris’ debut album is that it may be too much for American audiences. Its fundamental euro dance beats aren’t the ordinary flavor for the States, even though it sounds totally refreshing to these ears. “You” almost reminds me of Daft Punk. Perhaps those freaks should enlist her to rock out their jams.
The continuous vocal effects can get really annoying at times. Just let the girl sing. I say that as I’m bouncing around the room to “Love In Return”. And as much as I could have gone without the cover of “True Colors”, it is actually nice.
Sarina Paris has one thing going for her debut and that’s that it will make people dance. It’s infectious, it’s catchy, but most of all it’s relentless.
