Papa Roach rang it up on Infest. Lovehatetragedy finds them taking the next step.
Bad ass:
“M-80” – Explodes with a taste of maturity long past previous efforts.
“Life Is A Bullet” – Actual Jacoby’s (once Coby Dick) singing goes a long way.
“Time And Time Again” – Surprised? You should be. There is more than pure angst driving these guys.
“She Loves Me Not” – They’ve got the singles.
“Gouge Away” – Awesome.
Bad (not bad meaning bad, but…):
“Walking Thru Barbed Wire”
“Decompression Period” – Finds Jacoby managing love and life.
“Code Of Energy” – Too familiar.
Ass (yes it stinks):
Nothing stinks here.
Papa Roach surprised me as much as the next guy. They didn’t seem to have much more going for than angst. Lovehatetragedy proves that they’ve grown and will surely prosper.
