The three song EP I’m Waking Up To Us is another welcome release from the ridiculously good Belle & Sebastian.
The title track, “I’m Waking Up To Us”, remains as typically beautiful. It’s really heavenly, almost to the point of being disgustingly pretty. The same goes for “I Love My Car”. The intro is something right out of Pet Sounds and it never relents. I have one question, why in the hell aren’t Belle & Sebastian superstars?
The final song, “Max And Engels”, relaxes your soul and puts your mind at simple ease. These three songs are still better than most full albums and certainly worth every penny spent!
