Master P has been busy, away from music. He’s turned his empire inside and out, taking money made on music and investing it in things like a clothing line, a film company, and more. Since that time, he’s lost perhaps his best artist, Mystikal, while putting out a few subpar albums from other No Limit soldiers.
Ghetto Postage is Master P’s seventh solo album and it just might be his best. Once again the album stands as much on legs of others as they do on its master. Silkk The Shocker turns it on with the average “Bout Dat”. C-Murder is there with “Golds In They Mouth”. P gives us fun tracks like “Twerk That Thing”.
Master P loves to give us bang for the buck. He always wants to make sure there’s seventy plus minutes of music, but at what price? When you get lame tracks like “My Three Uncles” you wonder why it is he’d rather not pull such an embarrassment. Ghetto Postage may not be a priority, but it’s better than his last few messy offerings.
