Amanda Marshall has gone virtually unnoticed in the states. Calling Canada home Marshall hopes this go around will finally get her some notice.
Good:
“Everybody’s Got A Story” – It’s true, we’ve all got stories, some are just more interesting than others.
“Love Is My Witness” – Good even if it sounds too much like Melissa Etheridge.
Okay:
“The Voice Inside” – Not as interesting a tale.
“The Gypsy” – Too pop for her own good.
“Colleen” – I was interested, and then I wasn’t.
Lame:
“Double Agent” and “Red Magic Marker” – Losing faith.
“Sunday Morning After” – The poor acting in the opening skit is enough to make you crazy, the song isn’t much better.
Amanda Marshall has a nice voice, but the songs just start to head downhill fast. Everybody’s Got A Story, but Marshall seems to have run out of them by track two.
