Track #
1. So Much Better Highly active and intoxicating. Sounds similar to Soul Coughing, aside from the actual singing during the chorus. Rating: 6.5/10
2. A Million Things Precise ballad. Nicely crafted, wonderfully executed. Rating: 7/10
3. Falling Dutiful. Rating: 5/10
4. Tin Man Very ’80’s, very “pina coladasgetting caught in the rain.” Rating: 6/10
5. Deep In You Average. Rating: 4.5/10
6. Timing Creedence licks, but overall not a great rock track. Catchy, and occasionally lethargic. Rating: 5.5/10
7. Manhattan The mold has been set and he’s sticking to it. Rating: 5/10
8. Easy To Leave New formula, but not necessarily a good thing. Rating: 4/10
9. One Day Decent, but continues for much too long with its outro. Rating: 4.5/10
10. What’s Got To Be An attempt to rock harder than he seems accustomed to. Doesn’t get the job done entirely. Rating: 4/10
11. Don’t Break My Fall Cooling down. Rating: 5.5/10
Evan Olson isn’t going to take the world by storm, but he has put out a nice record.
