Onyx at one time brought it hard with Slam. But since disappeared. Can they claw their way back?
Good:
Nothing.
Middle:
“What’s Onyx” – What is it you ask? Well first ingredient is the f’word.
“Slam Harder” – It’s not harder. Even the ‘Welcome Back Kotter’ theme can’t save this.
“Big Trucks” – Growl.
“Clap And Rob ‘Em” – Even though the track rips its melody its still not bad.
Slummin:
“Gangsta” – Weak.
“Onyx Is Back” – Stolen melody and still weak.
“Feel Me” – I don’t feel you at all.
Sticky Fingaz put out a hot record. Fredro didn’t, instead he joined Brandy on TV and sold it out. Onyx aren’t even a shadow of their former selves.
