3LW stands for 3 Little Women. They may be little, but they have huge voices. It’s just too bad they have not-so-great songs to sing. The one track worth a listen is “No More (Baby I’ma Do Right)”. Its clever verses give it a little distinction from the other million pop tracks floating around.
“Playas Gon’ Play” is proof positive that hip-hop has lost its edge. “Not This Time” has a distinct NSYNC flavor. A truer ballad is the tender “More Than Friends (That’s Right)”. 3LW’s first release doesn’t offer much. There is no serious contender for a single. If “Crush On You” is as close as it gets, then 3LW won’t be around too long.
