Bad Ronald is a bit of a mystery, but it seems this crew is a bunch of white boys bringing the rock, bringing the hip-hop, and the pop. They’ve packed it all into what is really a surprise.
Although “Let’s Begin” and “Bad Idea” remind me a bit of the Kid Rock fused with the Pharcyde, it’s good enough to ignore the influence. “Let’s Begin” just might be the next big party song. “I Need Love” builds it up well but they never let it finish and miss the chance for a hit.
One of the best songs by Bad Ronald is an apparent prank call with a freestyle rap to a Chinese restaurant called “Delivery”. Bad Ronald have a great sense of humor, one that is probably as good as their hooks if not better. “Popcorn Titties” proves this all in one small package.
