“Elijah St. Marie” is blustering rock that asks simply “can you hear me?” and the answer is easily, yes! “Caroline” is another diamond. There are a few tracks that can keep your interest even when those in between fail to satisfy. I’m glad I stuck around for “Rocks Stars Plastic Cars”.
Singer Marc Benning has a keen knack for melody and his voice is almost too smooth. “Your Coming In Clearer” comes off with out the angst of Radiohead’s “Creep” even though it sounds eerily similar. However for the most part 34 Satellite resembles the Wallflowers without the flair of having a daddy who changed music. Need more proof just listen to “Smoke From A Funeral”.
