Huh?: American’s Sweetheart? Find out if Courtney Love even deserves your time.

The Good: Not one song!

The Average:
“Hold On To Me” – Love sounds like she’s aged twenty years since the last record or chewing glass. Her voice is gone yet the song still moves on like an old folk singer making amends.
“Sunset Strip” – Painful. Love knows her days on top are over and aches for those old days.

The Ugly:
“Mono” – Hmmm. This is nothing new actually it sounds like ten steps backwards.
“All The Drugs” – The tales aren’t unique or uninteresting and the vocals are tormenting as struggles to stay in tune.
“But Julian, I’m a Little Older Than You” – You can’t cover bad lyrics by yelling.
“Almost Golden” and “Life Despite God” – Is she drunk? Her words are so slurred you have to wonder.
“I’ll Do Anything” – I guess when you own the rights to “Smells Like Teen Spirit” you can rip it off.

Frankly: Courtney Love has more than drug problems, her career as a musician is over. Live Through This was genius it’s a shame to see how far she has fallen. If you rubberneck when you see an accident on the highway this is the right record for you.
