Corporate line: Her third full-length album, ‘What If…’ ups the ante on an artistic promise that first became evident at the age of three.
The Great:
A good yawn came over me.
The Average:
“Time” and “In This Life” – Okay voice and okay songs equals okay songs.
The Bad:
“Ready For Your Love” – Odd instrumental and poor lyrics.
Frankly: No song jumps out at you. Nothing seems to stir any emotion. Each track comes off as generic and without emotion. It’s a shame. And the Bjork sound doesn’t fit Chantal at all. What If It All Means Something yet means nothing at all?
