Company Line: Already generating a major global buzz, Junior Senior has been topping the UK charts with their smash debut single, “Move Your Feet.”
The Good:
“Move Your Feet” – I didn’t know that Porky Pig knew how to sing. All I know is that he sure got me to move my feet.
Inbetween:
“Rhythm Bandits” – Now if the Go-Go’s joined the B-52s and danced around I might have enjoyed this more.
“Shake Your Coconuts” – B-52s are back… well not really.
The Ugly:
“Go Junior Go Senior” – I was waiting for the Bangles to bust out of this beat and walk like an Egyptian.
“Chicks and Dicks” – I didn’t know the Ramone’s were still around and doing dancehall.
“Good Girl, Bad Boy” – It’s all going Broadway – I mean downhill.
Frankly: Some good time music isn’t bad if original. Each track had me wondering ‘haven’t I heard this before?’ Junior Senior is a great cover band – only they are supposed to be doing original tracks. Can you call something original when it isn’t? I’m so confused. Can someone help me figure this out?
