Ja Rule – The Last Temptation

Ja Rule
Artist: Ja Rule
Title: The Last Temptation
Label: Def Jame
Rating: 6.5/10

Ja Rule isn’t wasting any time. He’s in movies; he’s cranking out hits with other artists and still has time to drop The Last Temptation. Was it rushed or worth releasing?

Temptation:
“Murder Reigns” – The hook isn’t quite as hot thankfully Ja tears it up.
“Last Temptation” – Ja seems to be saving the best for last.
“Connected” and “Rock Star” – Hot.

Tempting, but Timid:
“Thug Lovin” – Bobby Brown comes aboard, but he’s not needed.
“Mesmerize” – Ashanti is a nice addition, but the lyrics aren’t far from the track he did with Jennifer Lopez last year.
“The Warning”
“The Pledge Remix” – Nas tears it up, Ja does his job, but 2Pac? Seems a little shameless.

Blasphemy:
“Murder Me”
“Pop N****s” – Nothing interesting here.
