Haven has a good knack for making the most of a melody. They glide safely through light rock.
Senses are good:
“Beautiful Thing” – a nifty number that spreads melody thick.
“Say Something” – pristine pop rock.
Senses are fair:
“Where Is The Love”
“Still Tonight” and “Lately” – Ballad.
“Is This Bliss” – Nice track, however there are too many slow songs jammed up into one place.
Non-sense:
“Out Of Reach” – Gulp, do I hear a little Journey?
Michael Bolton would like it. I’m not sure what that says for me. But if you like your rock mixed with your pop, then Haven will suit you fine. That is unless you couldn’t stand Journey. There is a problem with the album losing momentum towards the end.
