Gorillaz released the successful self-titled album not long ago. In case you were living in a hole and didn’t know that Blur’s front man Damon Albarn fronted the group with Dan The Automator running the boards, than you know now.
This f*&king rocks:
“19-2000” – is a hard ass rock track that is as good as it gets on this record.
“Ghost Train” – who rocks the party? Gorillaz rocks that’s who!
“12d3” – lovely.
Somewhere in between:
“Latin Simone” – can be lovely, can be monotonous.
What the f*&k? This sucks:
“Clint Eastwood” – the Phi Life Cypher Version blows.
“The Sounder” – too little too much.
“Hip Albatr” – slow as it goes.
Gorillaz isn’t really giving us anything but leftovers. And we all know leftovers never taste as good after they’ve sat in the fridge for a few weeks. Watch the mold.
