You’ve got to have Faith. Faithfully is the third release by Faith Evans. If you thought she was going deep before, then this album will remind you of what soul searching is all about.

The single, “You Gets No Love”, sounds bitter but tastes almost sweet with a hook to match. There are a few notable tracks, like “Brand New Man” and “Do Your Time”, the latter about a boyfriend behind bars.

Not all of Faithfully is slow. “Love Can’t Hide” revs up the album with a sweet jazz sound. The one thing that makes Faithfully strong is that it has highs and lows. The songs that pick you up still won’t leave you high and dry. Faith Evans gives it her all and you can hear in her voice that she leaves nothing to chance.
