Rock can come in many packages. Most are sealed in a plastic home, some in cardboard, paper, but most often just dull old plastic. Not very pretty to look at, or very interesting for that matter. Bland. Electrasy fixes as the same old bland package. They rock a smidgen, but can’t seem to get out of their own way.
“Morning Afterglow” doesn’t bend any rules or come off as really original. It sits tidily. Electrasy borrowed super-producer Glen Ballard for “Cosmic Castaway”, it’s just too bad they borrowed the guy and left his talent at home. Don’t hurry to find either track. They’ll still be sitting there when you get around to it.
