Track #
1. Switcheroo Whoopy! Give it to me fast and melodic. 7.5/10
2. Anyway Green Day meets Weezer. 7/10
3. Alvin Not as up as the previous tracks. 5/10
4. Dear Kate A punk rock track that tells the story of love for what’s on the inside. Actually quite fun. 7.5/10
5. G-Force The panning guitar from ear to ear in the intro gave me motion sickness, but I felt much better as the song went on. 8/10
6. Wussypuff Although the title is lame, the song is pretty damn good. Long live rock! 7.5/10
7. Blue Sky Sounds like geek rock, but I’m a sucker for it. 7.5/10
8. Slice Of Heaven Just as the title suggests. 8/10
9. Granola This track burns. It’s a real flashback to some ’70’s old-style rock ‘n’ roll. 7/10
10. Boyz In The Hood A cover of Eazy-E’s classic track. Being a huge fan of Eazy’s, I hated the track at first, but I’ll be damned if it didn’t grow on me. What a perfect way to cover it. If they did it fast, it wouldn’t have had the same flare. 7/10
11. Pick Up The lines Classic punk that would make the Dead Kennedy’s cheer. 7/10
12. Marie Fantastic way to wrap up the album. 7/10
Add some Built To Spill, Weezer, and Pavement and you’ve got Dynamite Hack. The songs are nice and sweet even when the guitar roars. These guys have a lot to give. If I had my say, they’d be huge!
