The Good:
“Get It On The Floor” f/Swizz Beatz – DMX gets a helping hand.
“Untouchable” f/Syleena Johnson – Syleena brings a tender touch to DMX’s grind.
“Rob All Night” – DMX is at his best when he has a chance to dictate the track and not overwhelmed by a beat.
“We ‘Bout To Blow” – DMX gets off.
“The Rain” – Sentimental, but I’m a sucker.
The Average:
“Where The Hood At” – It’s an anthem without DMX getting off with any classic lines. Ruff.
“Shot Down” f/50 Cent – DMX drops hyper lines while 50 sounds like he is half asleep.
“My Life” f/Chinky – Not exactly a song that has a chorus swimming around as DMX drops a line here and there without much regard for putting anything together.
“F*** Y’all” – Some will get off chanting this track in the club.
“Don’t Gotta Go Home” f/Monica – This is more sentimental nonsense but doesn’t get over as well. DMX can be sappy, but here he sounds like a sucker.
The Ugly:
“Dogs Out” – Barking through a chorus isn’t quite music, is it?
Frankly: DMX has seen better days and released better records. DMX mixes in his drooling, barking, and dog-like attitude that is getting tired.
