Robyn launches U.S. tour with Kelis and promoting “Dancing on my Own”

Robyn’s new digital single, “Dancing On My Own,” is available on iTunes this week. Recently named “Best New Track” by Pitchfork, it’s the lead single from her forthcoming album, Body Talk PT 1, which is scheduled for release on June 15th on Cherrytree Records. Robyn recently premiered the Max Vitali-directed video for the track which can be seen on VEVO.com.

It was just announced that Robyn will perform on the “Late Show with David Letterman” on July 19th, and she’ll be kicking off a North American tour on July 16th with a performance at the Pitchfork Music Festival in Chicago. Beginning July 23rd, Robyn will team up with Kelis for a string of co-headlining dates, and they plan to bring UK sensation Dan Black and Robyn’s Cherrytree Records label-mates, Far East Movement, along for the ride.

Early reviews have called the album “Genius” (NME), “a perfect example of how she eschews the norm” (New York Post) and “…beyond anything that exists in my musical library” (Nylon).
