Searching for new music is never easy. Tom McRae writes and sings like he has given up looking for something to listen to and instead made his own.
Songs like “2nd Law” and “Draw Down The Stairs” push the emotional peddle. McRae lays it on the line and leaves nothing to chance. His voices cries on “One More Mile” while “The Boy With The Bubblegum” suffers from having nothing while seeming to have it all. “Untitled” screeches like Donovan.
McRae gives a tearful goodbye on “I Ain’t Scared Of Lightening”. He mixes emotional rock with a soul that has been lost in music today. McRae is a one man army that is not to be missed.
