The North American tour comes in support of Jeezy’s brand new album, TM:103 ‘HUSTLERZ AMBITION’. Released December 20th to a #1 debut on iTunes, TM:103 sold a massive 233K in its first week and has just been certified GOLD by the RIAA. The 5-week, 25-city tour of the U.S. and Canada wraps up April 6th at the Olympia Theatre in Montreal. (Please see complete itinerary below.)

Nearly three years in the making, TM:103 ‘HUSTLERZ AMBITION’ is the album that Jeezy’s millions of fans have been awaiting far too long. The album release date on December 20th was celebrated with a special, sold-out performance by Jeezy at the Gramercy Theatre in New York City, presented by Def Jam, CTE and New York’s home of hip-hop, HOT 97 FM.

Critical raves greeted the release of TM:103, as The Source wrote: “Jeezy is still a proud denizen of the Atlanta trap… Fame is isolating, and Jeezy is keenly aware in these moments, cognizant of the stacked expectations for TM:103 from fans and haters alike. Self-fulfilling prophecy meets the realest shit indeed.” XXL gave the album an ‘XL’ rating, hailing it as “an emphatic re-emergence, carrying a feeling of revival from 2005’s Let’s Get It, sprinkled with moments of growth and realization… Offering the fire of TM:101, the rollick-and-celebration of TM:102, and rowdiness of The Recession, Snow’s fourth studio album is indeed a win.”

The first single from TM:103, “I Do” featuring Jay-Z and André 3000 of OutKast, has blasted up the Urban and Rhythm charts, while the street banger “Supafreak,” featuring 2 Chainz, has started making serious noise in the clubs and mixshows. The next single on deck is “Leave You Alone” featuring Ne-Yo. The duo plan to support the single with several national television performances.

In advance of TM:103’s release, Hustlerz Ambition aired on MTV2 and VEVO. The two-disc CD+DVD deluxe edition of TM:103 contains the uncut version of the film, the most revealing and honest and graphic portrayal of Jeezy to date. Narrated by Samuel L. Jackson, directed by Chris Robinson, and produced by Cossette Productions (known for their work on the Grammy Awards telecasts), this extraordinary documentary is a must-have for every Young Jeezy fan.

TM:103, Jeezy’s fourth Def Jam/CTE studio album, follows-up The Recession (September 2008), his second consecutive #1 Sound¬scan debut (after 2006’s The Inspiration). The Recession went straight to #1 at iTunes, and spun off a string of hit singles starting with “Put On” featuring Kanye West, #1 Rap and #1 R&B, and a #12 pop hit as well. The Grammy-nominated song was the second-highest charting Hot 100 hit of Jeezy’s career, and was also nominated for the People’s Champ Award at the BET Awards in October 2008.

Six years since the release of his RIAA platinum seminal classic debut album, TM 101 (aka Let’s Get It: Thug Motivation 101, on July 26, 2005), rap superstar, trap hero and CTE/Def Jam recording artist Jeezy today announces the scheduled September 20, 2011 release of his long-awaited fourth album, TM 103.

The most anticipated street album of the year, TM 103 contains the street smashes “Lose My Mind” (#2 on the Urban radio chart, #16 at Rhythm) and the still-current “Ballin’” (#10 Urban, with over 15 million radio audience this week). The newest single pick, “Shake Life” will impact urban radio on August 1st and rhythm on August 22nd.

In support of TM 103’s release, Jeezy will commence a major 5-week, 31-city headlining U.S. tour, beginning July 29th at the Palladium in Dallas, and wrapping up September 2nd at the Showbox at the Market in Seattle. Opening most dates will be newcomer Freddie Gibbs, signed by Jeezy to his Atlanta-based CTE (Corporate Thugz Entertainment) label.

In advance of the tour, Jeezy has set two celebratory anniversary shows, in which he will perform the TM 101 album live in its entirety. The first show took place Monday night (July 25th) at the prestigious Highline Ballroom in New York’s Chelsea district. The second TM 101 show took place in Jeezy’s home base, Atlanta, last night at the Buckhead Theatre.

In addition to “Lose My Mind,” “Ballin’,” and “Shake Life,” other TM 103 highlights include two versions of “I Do,” one featuring Jay-Z and Drake, and the other featuring André 3000 of OutKast. (Rolling Stone called the track “a splashy, classic-soul-inspired jam.”)

GQ magazine’s Punch List raved: “The album [futureusgalleryTM 103] is full of the kind of music that Jeezy – a mythological gladiator of a rapper – was built to record. [futureusgalleryProducer] Redd’s beats are the ideal palette for him: gritty, grandiose, and sinister.”

TM 103 is the long-awaited follow-up to The Recession (September 2008), Jeezy’s second consecutive #1 Soundscan debut (after 2006’s The Inspiration).

The Recession continued the saga of Jeezy, one of the most successful rappers and entrepreneurs on the street today. It was the massive popularity and major-label sales of mixtapes like 2004’s Trap Or Die that brought Jeezy national attention. His “million dollar dreams” turned into reality with the RIAA platinum #1 Let’s Get It: Thug Motivation 101, one of 2005’s biggest debut albums. A phenomenal seven tracks from Let’s Get It found their way onto radio and the charts: “And Then What,” “Soul Survivor,” “Trap Or Die,” “Go Crazy,” “Tear It Up,” “Trap Star,” and “My Hood.” The album topped many critics’ year-end lists, was named the New York Times’ Pop Album of the Year, and Jeezy was named Best New R&B/Hip-Hop Artist at the Billboard Music Awards. Jeezy was named in Rolling Stone’s “New Faces: Artists To Watch” and MTV News’ “You Hear It First.”

2006’s The Inspiration: Thug Motivation 102 quickly pushed past RIAA platinum, out-selling nearly every rap album on the charts. In support, Jeezy hit the road with Jim Jones, Baby, Lil’ Wayne, and Fat Joe for the seven-week, 23-city “Street Dream Tour” of March-April 2007.

Stay tuned for more on Jeezy and the trap album of the year, TM103…

With over 95 million MySpace plays to date, “Birthday Sex” rose to #1 on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart, #4 on the Hot 100, and #5 on the Hot Digital Songs chart (the single is approaching platinum), and boasts more than 100 million total audience at radio.

Young Jeezy’s story represents the struggle, pain, and pressure that anyone living in the hood deals with. It also gives you the inspiration and motivation to make it out, be successful, and achieve your goals. His motto is “If you can think it you can do it” Young Jeezy is one of the premier artists to emerge from Atlanta’s ongoing “rap movement.” Not only does he have high performance energy, but he is also a great story teller. He has the ability to bring color and flash to a story that has been told so many times before. He’s a true digital age artist who doesn’t need 16 bars to develop a picture in your head. He has also worked with artists such as Kanye West, Lil Jon, Usher, Young Buck, T.I., Trick Daddy, Akon, Mannie Fresh, Lil Scrappy, Bun B, Lloyd, Slick Pulla, & Lil Will and Mariah Carey. On his second album The Inspiration, the first single “I Luv It” peaked at #14 on the Billboard Hot 100. He also later released the album Let’s Get It: Thug Motivation 101 which debuted at #2 selling 172,000 copies in its first week. He also loves to give back to the community and donate to charity events. He presented a toy drive for the first annual Toyz n da Hood toy drive which provided 1,000 toys for 1,000 kids in his home town of Atlanta. He also opened his home for those who needed shelter to the survivors of Hurricane Katrina. He has received many awards and nominations such as the American Music Awards nominations for Favorite Rap/Hip-Hop Male Artist and Favorite Rap/Hip- Hop Album The Inspiration. BET Hip-Hop Awards nominations for Hip-Hop MPV of the Year and Hip-Hop CD of the Year for Let’s Get It: Thug Motivation 101. Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop Awards include nominations for Top R&B/Hip-Hop Artist – Male, Top Rap Album for Let’s Get It: Thug Motivation 101, and Hot Rap Track for “Soul Survivor.” He has won Dirty Awards for Most Bootlegged CD, Best New Dirty Artist, and Best Dirty Collaboration. He was also nominated for Dirty Boy of the Year, Dirty South Representative of the Year, and Dirty Song of the Year for “Soul Survivor”. His Teen Choice Awards include nominations for Choice Music: Rap Artist. Vibe awards include nominations for Hottest Hook for “Soul Survivor.”

The good:
“Put On” f/Kanye West – The one shining moment on the album.
“Amazin’” – The lyrics aren’t well crafted luckily the chorus is good enough to make the melody stick.
“Circulate” – Jeezy takes on some southern soul and actually pulls it off it a big way.
“Word Play – Jeezy tackles a song that sounds like it was written for Nas. This is the rare occasion where Jeezy shows what he could do if only he give it his best every time in the studio.

The rest:
“Welcome Back” – Jeezy is back from where? His voice sounds tight too bad he doesn’t have much to say.
“By The Way” – Jeezy is no Juvenile–by the way.
What They Want” – As weak as any Jeezy track ever gets. It’s funny to title a record about the recession while Jeezy brags about how he is going to teach us how to make a million dollars when he was lucky to make money himself. So what is the the lesson? Sell drugs or be lucky enough to be a rapper?
“My President” – Chuck D. has to be laughing himself to death. Here is a guy rapping about the recession and our president being garbage and then Jeezy raps about how his Lamborghini is blue, but don’t forget he is trying to make those of us suffering from the recession feel better. What a joke.

Finally:
Young Jeezy has talent to spare. If only it sounded like he tried harder. And if only he understood the meaning of irony. There are definitely tracks worth downloading and some to be avoided. If Jeezy ever gets it all right–look out.

Young Jeezy’s newest single, “Put On” (featuring Kanye West), has exploded into the Top 5. ”Put On” is the #4 track at Urban radio, with over 5,300 spins and over 44 million in audience nationwide.

That may not sound like THE RECESSION, but that’s what Young Jeezy is calling the third album chapter in his saga, arriving in stores and online this September 2nd through his CTE/Def Jam Recordings label.

The run-up to The Recession will include a lot of firsts for Jeezy, including his first-ever appearance on the cover of the latest issue of VIBE magazine. This month he appears on his 4th XXL cover, and will soon appear on his first-ever cover of The Source. Last month, Young Jeezy made his first-ever appearance as a performer at the annual BET Awards telecast, performing “Put On” with a surprise appearance from Kanye. The video for “Put On,” directed by Gil Green, debuted last week on MTV and BET and has quickly become a hit online.

THE RECESSION is the highly-anticipated follow-up to Young Jeezy’s RIAA platinum second album, The Inspiration (released December 2006). The album’s first single, “I Luv It,” jumped inside the Top 15 across-the-board on the Hot 100, R&B/Hip-Hop, and Digital Songs charts, and lit up the Hot Rap Tracks at #7. The even more successful second single “Go Getta” rose to #3 Rap, #9 R&B/Hip-Hop, #14 Digital, and #18 Hot 100, while its video moved into Elite 8 Rotation on MTV2.

As Young Jeezy readies for the highly anticipated release of The Recession, he will kick off a national promotional tour on August 10th in Houston, TX for 11 city performances which will end on his album release date, September 2nd in his hometown, Atlanta, GA.

Concurrent with “Put On” and the imminent release of THE RECESSION, Jeezy has launched USDA2Day.com, a new blog and social networking site to serve as “the official media source for the ’hood.” The site will provide daily updates with breaking news stories, plus new music by Jeezy and artists signed to his CTE record label, including rapper and USDA member Blood Raw, who recently released My Life: The True Testimony, his debut album as a solo artist on CTE/Def Jam. Blood Raw made his major label recording debut last year on Young Jeezy Presents USDA: Cold Summer “The Authorized Mixtape”, the first release from CTE, a co-venture with IDJMG (released May 2007). The RIAA gold album – and multi-platinum Atlanta-based rapper Jeezy’s nationwide “Street Dream” tour – introduced his latest project, USDA (United Streets Dopeboyz of America), a collaboration with Blood Raw and Atlanta emcee Slick Pulla. Cold Summer debuted at #1 on Billboard’s R&B and Rap charts (and #4 on the pop side), and spun off two singles, “White Girl” and “Corporate Thuggin’.”

TONIGHT, July 29th at 9:02pm, Jeezy will launch new, original content on USDA2day.com, and will do so every Tuesday until the release of The Recession on 9/2.

Meanwhile, THE RECESSION continues the saga of Atlanta’s Young Jeezy, one of the most successful rapper/entrepreneurs on the street today. Jeezy was named in Rolling Stone’s “New Faces: Artists To Watch” and MTV News’ You Hear It First.

2006’s The Inspiration quickly pushed past RIAA platinum, out-selling nearly every rap album on the charts. In support, Jeezy hit the road with Jim Jones, Baby, Lil’ Wayne, and Fat Joe for the seven-week, 23-city “Street Dream Tour” of March-April 2007.

In addition to his success as an entertainer and chief executive of CTE, Young Jeezy has also launched his own clothing line, Eighty Seven Thirty Two (8732). In December 2007, he gave back by inaugurating Toyz n da Hood, a week-long annual toy drive that gave away 1,000 toys for 1,000 kids at various locations in Atlanta (Fourth Ward) and Macon (Unionville).
