Through a true-to-life, first-person perspective, players will track over 30 big and small game species on land and in the air across authentic environments featuring realistic wildlife activity and varying weather conditions. To become the ultimate tracker, gamers must listen for animal calls, search the ground for tracks, and use ‘Scent Vision’ to spot and hunt their prey. Players can close in on targets using special scents and decoys, as well as permanent hideouts and vantage points as their hunting skills become more advanced.

As the first game of its kind for a next gen platform, players take the helm of their very own World War II submarine in the raging, war-torn waters of the North Atlantic in order to stop the advance of the fierce Axis forces.

Following the success of the first SAW video game and based on Lionsgate®’s and Twisted Pictures’ popular horror film franchise, SAW 2 invites players back into Jigsaw’s twisted world. With new stomach-twisting traps and puzzles, more visceral combat, and an all-new storyline that takes place between the second and third movie players will be able delve deeper into the horror and mystery of Jigsaw’s subjects.

In advancing through the story, players will face mind-bending puzzles, as they navigate their way through Jigsaw’s terrifying world, and defend themselves against his minions. In order to survive Jigsaw’s games, players must use their intelligence and desire to live in order to survive.

SAW 2 will be released in North America this Fall, as will Saw VII 3D, the seventh installment of the Saw film franchise, which hits theaters on October 22nd.

F.E.A.R. 3 is coming to the Xbox 360 and PS3 this Fall

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment announces F.E.A.R. 3, a heart-pounding paranormal horror first person shooter unleashing intense combat, compelling narrative and co-op play that evolves the franchise. F.E.A.R. 3 is set to release on the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system, and Windows PC in fall 2010.

Alma returns in F.E.A.R. 3 but this time her sons Point Man and Paxton Fettel introduce divergent co-op, giving players distinctly different abilities affecting their own play as well as the experience of their co-op partner. Gamers participate in single player or co-op modes as Point Man, a genetically enhanced super soldier originally introduced in F.E.A.R., or they can play cooperatively as his conniving brother Paxton Fettel, whose incredible telekinetic power has given him life beyond the grave. The game is developed by Day 1 Studios, developer of the original F.E.A.R. console games in collaboration with Monolith Studios.

Steve Niles co-wrote the game script with the development team and John Carpenter provided his expertise in crafting the in-game cinematics.

Global video game publisher 505 Games and developer Artech Studios today announced arcade style, submarine action title Naval Assault: The Killing Tide, the first game of its kind for next-gen platforms. Exclusively for Xbox 360™, the game offers players the chance to command their own WWII submarine through multiple combat zones in the North Atlantic in this exciting summer release.

Getting underway from New York harbor, Naval Assault: The Killing Tide tells the story of the Allied submariner effort against Axis forces across the key naval warzones of World War II. Players will captain an arsenal of faithfully recreated U.S. Naval submarines against enemy warship assaults both above and below the water’s surface. In Naval Assault: The Killing Tide, players will need a healthy dose of stealth and cunning as well as sharp-shooting deck gun and torpedo skills to successfully destroy the enemy fleets in the 30 missions throughout the game.

Set to rip apart the First Person Shooter and deliver genre-defining gun play that comes alive in an orgy of bullets and destruction, Codemasters today confirmed that Bodycount™ is the new IP in production at Codemasters Studios Guildford.

Designed by Creative Director Stuart Black (co-creator and designer of Black, 2006), Bodycount is being created by an all-star development team using the EGO® Game Technology Platform, an evolution of Codemasters’ award-winning engine, for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft® and PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system and scheduled for release in Q1 of 2011.

“Our core focus for Bodycount is to deliver best-in-class gun play that places the gamer at the heart of the experience,” said Executive Producer Tom Gillo. “From the jaw-dropping devastation caused by firing into enemies or shredding the world around you in a hail of bullets, Bodycount will crystalize that moment of pulling the trigger into an exhilarating sensory overload of action.”

In Bodycount players become ensnared in a clandestine global power struggle as a powerful combat asset with a green-light to eliminate enemies known only as ‘Targets’ on behalf of the ‘Network’. The Swarm for the Xbox 360 coming in May

505 Games U.S. and Buka Studios today announced a May 2010 release date for The Swarm, an action-packed third-person shooter that drops players into the middle of a nuclear fallout after in alien invasion in Moscow, Russia. Targeted for release on Xbox 360™, The Swarm forces players to choose between absorbing alien DNA – and powerful skills — at the cost of gradually become a monster, or retaining their own humanity to fight off the alien invaders.

In The Swarm, players navigate an alien-infested Red Square in Moscow, shown under the effects of a nuclear catastrophe. The game features a unique adaptive combat system, where players awaken in an alien laboratory and will choose throughout the game to either enhance their performance with alien DNA that increases attributes like stamina and health, or retain their humanity – and standard abilities – to fight the invading forces.

While searching for an antidote to cure their allies against the alien mutation, players will solve DNA mini-games and puzzles for the option to absorb new abilities and become more adept at fighting tougher enemies. Players can then build and change alien DNA chains to improve different abilities like harvested energy from the bodies of defeated enemies, increased regeneration rate, enhanced vision or develop physical manifestations with access to energy weapons and sharp claws. Players can use a variety of weapons-including firearms, clubs, plasma projectors and grenades-for melee or ranged combat against enemies.

“This is not your standard third-person shooter,” said Adam Kline, president of 505 Games U.S. “The game’s adaptive combat allows players to mold their characters, draw them into the alien takeover and force them to make tough decisions typically not found in other shooter games.”

Players will encounter The Swarm for Xbox 360 in May 2010.
