With authentic tennis motions, users will feel like they are actually playing tennis. They can vie for tennis immortality in Grand Slam Career mode by winning all four majors, a feat Roger Federer accomplished yesterday after winning his first French Open. With the win, he tied Pete Sampras with 14 career Grand Slam titles. Both are among the licensed players in Grand Slam Tennis, which includes some of the greatest in tennis history. John McEnroe appears exclusively in the game and graces the North American cover, along with Federer and Serena Williams. Joining the trio is a mix of current stars and legends who collectively own 136* Grand Slam singles titles.

As one of the first titles compatible with the Wii MotionPlus™ accessory, the one-to-one motion in Grand Slam Tennis is taken to a higher and more authentic level. Gamers will be in full command of their players and in control every inch of the court with added shot depth and ball placement. In Europe, Grand Slam Tennis will be exclusively bundled with the Wii MotionPlus™ accessory.

With Tennis Party mode, a fun and social tennis gaming environment comes to life for multiple players. Using a variety of unique rule twists, a dozen party games can be played including “King of the Court”, “Tag Team” and “Drops and Lobs”. With online capability, connect with new opponents and add to your country’s point total on the Battle of the Nations leader board.

Not only does Grand Slam Tennis combine fun and social gaming, its great way to stay active and in shape. The fitness component allows players to track the calories burned after each match. Personal goals can be set and managed on a daily, weekly or monthly basis, adding a new dimension to the total tennis experience.

It’s all about fun, friendship, and charms, as the Play Label of Electronic Arts Inc. today announced its new, original video game franchise for girls: Charm Girls Club. Girls will be immersed in the fabulous Charm Girls’ world where they collect sparkly, virtual charms as they complete challenges that are sassy, fun, and relevant to their world. EA will release four Charm Girls Club titles this fall including Charm Girls Club Pajama Party for the Wii™, and three titles for the Nintendo DS™: Charm Girls Club My Perfect Prom, Charm Girls Club My Fashion Mall and Charm Girls Club My Fashion Show.

“Charm Girls Club celebrates everything that’s fun about being a girl,” said Sarah Handley, Senior Director of Marketing, EA Play Label. “Girls are gamers too and EA wants to provide them with games that are fun, fabulous and appeal to their interests.”

In the Charm Girls Club games, girls are introduced to their new BFFs, the Charm Girls. The Charm Girls guide players through the games, give them a helping hand, and get their back when the evil Queen B’s try to intervene. Girls begin by customizing their own Charm Girl character that represents their unique style. Girls can choose from thousands of trendy and stylish combinations, customizing their entire look from head to toe, including their facial features, hair, make-up, wardrobe, shoes and even their accessories!

Collecting virtual charms is key in Charm Girls Club. Challenges that a girl completes can earn her a shiny new virtual charm that she will add to her virtual charm jewelry box. Special multiplayer charms can also be earned when playing with friends. Girls can show off their new charms to one another and see who collects them all.

Each Charm Girls Club game presents its own unique scenario that will have girls grinning from ear to ear. In Charm Girls Club Pajama Party for Wii, girls can play with the Charm Girls, or with as many as seven friends, for the ultimate interactive slumber party experience. Girls will have an all night gigglefest playing more than 30 hilarious games like Bed Bounce, Pillow Fight, Speed Hair Teasing, and many more. Using the Wii Remote’s motion-sensing technology, CHARM GIRLS CLUB Pajama Party takes classic pajama party games and activities to a whole new level.

And there’s even more fun to be had for girls on the go with three Charm Girls Club titles for the handheld Nintendo DS system. In Charm Girls Club My Perfect Prom, girls choose the perfect dress, the perfect date and play through dozens of zany activities before attending the big night! In Charm Girls Club My Fashion Show, girls select their models and the most awesome outfits in a series of wild challenges to see who rules the virtual runway. In Charm Girls Club My Fashion Mall, girls manage the mall and tackle wacky mall mishaps everywhere from the food court to the accessories boutique to the nail salon.

Zephyr: Rise of the Elementals is currently in development for Wii™, Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and PLAYSTATION®3 computer entertainment system.

Sinister forces have deceived you to believe that your destructive behavior will save an epic hero. In reality, you’re working for evil. Take control of a dynamic tornado as you tear through open environments, chewing up the landscape and spitting out everything in your path. The more you destroy, the bigger you grow as you work against time based, collection and point challenges in the search for hidden elements and enemies from another world. Zephyr provides expansive sandbox type gameplay and real time destruction allowing gamers to destroy what they want, when they want, where they want!

Zephyr delivers humor filled missions and varying objectives, ranging from blustery mischief at a local trailer park to gale force feats in the middle of sprawling cityscapes. Diverse action packed gameplay provides both casual and hardcore gamers the ability to tear through towns in beautifully stylized high definition action! Double the destructive power by playing co-operative multiplayer where two players drive through environments picking up and tossing everything standing in their way in an effort to do battle against the evil Omegaton. The items in a player’s path range from the usual rusted tractors and rustic farms, to the strange and unexpected as you tear your way through increasingly complex and crowded areas around the world. Through large open worlds, users can take control of how objects are damaged and destroyed with the active destruction game mechanic. For added replayability, players can complete multiple missions and destroy different objects within environments to maximize each level and earn extra points.

Zephyr: Rise of the Elementals is being developed by Loose Cannon Studios and will be released in North America this Fall, for more information, please visit: www.konami.com/zephyr
