Mastodon have recently posted a very special video for their new single “Dry Bone Valley,” created by noted fine artist Tim Biskup, a long-time friend who has amassed a cadre of loyal fans and collectors of his painting and sculpture. Watch the new video here.

“Dry Bone Valley” is the second single from Mastodon’s critically acclaimed album The Hunter, which found its way onto several Year End/Best Of critics’ lists, including those compiled by Rolling Stone, Spin, Revolver, Decibel and many more.

Released on September 27th, The Hunter entered the Billboard Top 200 Album chart in the Top 10. The first single, “Curl of the Burl,” has been nominated for a 2012 Grammy Award for “Best Hard Rock/Metal Performance.” Radio play for the track brought even Mastodon to the attention of the mainstream masses by rocketing into the Top 15 of the Billboard charts resulting in their greatest radio presence to date. Middle Class Rut’s Zack Lopez (vocals, guitar) and Sean Stockham (vocals, drums), have been playing together since they were teenagers. Theory of a Deadman released their fourth studio album The Truth Is… on July 12, 2011 through Roadrunner Records when it immediately exploded into the charts taking the #8 spot on the Billboard Top 200 and the #2 spot on the iTunes Rock Album charts. The Truth Is…, produced by Howard Benson (My Chemical Romance, 3 Doors Down), has scanned almost 200,000 albums to date.

Theory of a Deadman’s current single, which is also a huge fan favorite, “Hurricane” went to radio this week. MGK is having a hot winter with the mega success of his single “Wild Boy” featuring Waka Flocka and the 2011 title of MTV’s Hottest Breakthrough MC competition along with the announcement of joining the 2012 Van’s Warped tour this summer. As the leader of the Lace Up Movement, MGK passionately sets out to inspire fans from all walks of life with his music and story.

Born Richard Colson Baker in Texas, MGK and his missionary parents took up residence in multiple countries around the world including Egypt and Germany before settling in his hometown of Cleveland, Ohio. In 2009, MGK won audiences nationwide after being the only rapper ever to win New York’s famed Apollo Theatre Amateur talent show and MGK won twice. He earth-quaked the standstill mid-west Hip-Hop landscape in early 2010 with a series of loud and fierce mixtapes 100 Words And Running and the Lace Up mixtape.

Already attaining commercial success, MGK’s “Invincible” song is featured in television and radio advertisements for the new HTC Rezound smartphone from Verizon Wireless with Beats Audio. MGK was recently honored again when “Invincible” was selected as the WWE Wrestlemania 28 Official Theme Song. Wrestlemania 28 is taking place April 1, 2012 at Sun Life Stadium in Miami, Florida.

Nite Jewel, aka California native Ramona Gonzalez, first began her transcendent minimalist dance-pop escapades in the privacy of her own home in Los Angeles. With the aid of her multitrack cassette recorder and whatever keyboards, drum machines, and other instruments that were available to her, she very quickly developed her own unique sound – likened to that of a warped, lo-fi version of Late-80’s Freestyle Electro sensation Debbie Deb.

The One Second Of Love title track [futureusgalleryavailable as a single now via iTunes] was recently named Best New Track on Pitchfork. They had this to say: “One Second Of Love reaches a new level. Whereas her previous recordings were capable only of hinting at Eno-like instrumentals, this song recalls them strongly, offering four minutes of funk-oriented pop with a crisp, galactic feel.
